When the Israelites fled from Egypt, they left in the middle of the working day. The bakers picked up the dough before it had had a chance to rise and they carried in on their backs to bake in the sun during their journey to freedom. At the Pesach meal, Seder, Jewish families share matza bread, to remind them of this hurried journey. Class 2 made matza bread today. Shalom!
