The coming week....

Firstly, apologies for the lack of pictures last week. We were so busy that I hardly managed to take any! Anyway, we had a great week, with a fantastically decadent Shrove Tuesday, a reflective Ash Wednesday and a marvellous World Book Day, immersing ourselves in the many works of the great Dr Seuss. Next week, we will be thinking more about Spring, and new life, and we will have some frogspawn in class to help us observe seasonal changes first hand. We will be investigating the forces that propel a rocket into space and will be experimenting with our own mini fizz rockets, which will involve skills in areas across the curriculum. We will also be thinking about how we could describe a rocket launch (amongst other things) to someone who was unable to see or hear, and we will be reading 'Moles Sunrise' and 'The Black Book of Colours' to help us with ideas for this.
